CHORAL SCHOLARSHIPS 

The Parish of Cirencester are pleased to offer 4 choral scholarships, one for each voice part (SATB) for the academic year 2019-2020. This is an exciting oportunity for anyone with a passion for choral singing.

Administrator

We are hoping to appoint an Administrator to work in the Parish office for 8 hours a week, starting as soon as possible. Responsibilities will be shared with another colleague on a job-share basis. The main duties include acting as a receptionist and answering the telephone, dealing with enquiries, managing the parish diary, compiling rotas, and other administrative tasks as required.

We are looking for someone who has excellent people skills, including discretion and diplomacy, is proficient in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint, who is organised but flexible, and who can use their own initiative.

The post-holder will be line-managed by the Rev. Canon Graham Morris, with further support offered by experienced volunteers. Training and induction will be provided as appropriate. Remuneration is £10 per hour.

 Finance Assistant

 We are hoping to appoint a Finance Assistant to work in the Parish office for 8 hours a week, starting as soon as possible. The main duties include ensuring that all relevant income and control accounts are maintained, monitoring budgets and reporting on all financial matters to the PCC

We are looking for someone who has excellent people skills, including discretion and diplomacy, is proficient in using Sage, who is organised but flexible, and who can use their own initiative.

The post-holder will be line-managed by the Rev’d Canon Graham Morris, with further support offered by experienced volunteers, including the treasurer. Training and induction will be provided. Remuneration is £10 per hour.
