A Night at the Cinema
A Night at the Cinema in 1914 – tickets are now on sale for the Cirencester Commemorates silent film night, sponsored by the Friends of Cirencester Parish Church. Friday 7th November at 7.30pm at the Parish Church. A fascinating compilation of silent film, released by the British Filmk Institute in August, recreating a typical night out of 100 years ago. The film is touring the UK currently but ours in the only screening with live piano accompaniment by Colin Sell of Radio 4 fame. Tickets cost £5 for an adult, £3 for under 16 and are available from the Parish Office and the Visitor Information Centre.
