Mens Group - July Meeting

Parish Mens Group
First, a big thank you to everyone who attended our June meeting and in particular to Richard Hawes, local businessman (owner of Jesse Smith Butchers), trustee of the Harnhill Centre of Christian Healing, and member of Trinity Cheltenham, who came to speak to us on a theme of “Meating the Needs of the World!
Our next MG meeting will be held on Tuesday 5 July 2016 and will be an evening meal at the Indian Rasoi, 14 Dollar Street, Cirencester GL7 2AJ: arrival from 8pm.
We need to know numbers attending so if you would like to join us at the July meal, please contact David Henson by email (click here) or on 07790 313249 to book your place.
 Looking ahead to future meetings:
The speaker at our August meeting will be local GP, Dr Hugh Thomas, who will be speaking about “Improving Health in Nepal - Land of Beauty, Mountains and Earthquakes”.
In September, our speaker will be Jules Eaton, who will be talking to us about his experiences on “The Long Walk to Santiago de Compostela”.
We're sure you will agree that both of these meetings promise to be fascinating.
Please forward this email to anybody else who might be interested in getting involved with the MG – and always feel free to bring a friend or two along to any of our monthly meetings. New people are most welcome!
Thank you for your support and we look forward to hearing from you.
The Cirencester Parish Men’s Group (MG) meets on the first Tuesday evening of each month. The idea is simple: we have a monthly meeting, open to all men in the Cirencester Parish area, with thought-provoking speakers and ample space to chat about whatever is important to us over a drink or two – along with the occasional meals out and other events.
