Mens Group - May 17

Next Men's Group Meeting: Tuesday 2 May 2017....

Thank you to everyone who came to the April meeting and in particular to our speaker, Tony Clack, for his fascinating (and very entertaining) talk on "The Fun of Aviation".
Our next MG meeting will be held on Tuesday 2 May 2017.
In a change to our usual format, we will be meeting at the Cirencester Air Raid Shelter Museum, which is located to the rear of the Sheep Street Car Park, behind the old Memorial Hospital building.

We shall also be convening at the slightly earlier time of 7.15pm, for a 7.30pm start.

First of all, we will be treated to a tour of the museum by Bill Irving, Reader at St Peter's Church in Siddington and active member of the local community, who (amongst a number of other varied interests) cares for and runs the Cirencester Air Raid Shelter Museum. This will be followed (weather-permitting) by a twilight 'war walk' in the surrounding area, most probably finishing up in the Marlborough Arms at the end of the evening.

We have decided that all 'subs' collected at the meeting will be donated to the museum as a token of our appreciation.

We very much hope to see you then!

The June meeting (Tuesday 6 June 2017) will be our twice-yearly MG meal out;
