Cirencester Sixth Form College and schools - Celebration of Christmas
Cirencester Sixth Form College is joining forces with the town's two secondary schools, Deer Park and Kingshill to celebrate Christmas in a musical collaboration on Friday, December 4th at Cirencester Parish Church.
Cirencester Celebrates Christmas will be hosted by students and pupils from all three educational institutions, in the beautiful surroundings of Cirencester’s Parish Church and is in aid of the NSPCC's 'Call for Help Appeal’.
There will be an opportunity to sing some of your favourite carols and enjoy the many talents of Cirencester’s young educational community.
Cirencester Sixth Form principal Kim Clifford said: "Christmas is a wonderful time for celebration and we feel privileged to be asked to participate in this fabulous event at the parish church, involving so many from our younger community.
"We hope lots of people will join us to raise as much money as we can for such a excellent cause.”
Chiquita Henson, headteacher of Cirencester Deer Park School said: "I am really pleased we are able to be a part of this concert for the NSPCC.
"It is a welcome opportunity for our pupils to engage in making music and celebrate Christmas alongside their peers for the benefit of others in the community."
Headteacher at Cirencester Kingshill School, Christine Oates, added: "Kingshill School is absolutely delighted to take part in the concert at the Parish Church, in aid of the NSPCC.
"For many children Christmas is a magical and happy time. We hope that the proceeds of the concert can help to make Christmas a happier time for those children needing some extra support.”
