Youth & children
We have four brilliant groups for children:
Sparklers meet at St John Baptist on Sundays. The service starts at 10am where the young people stay with their families until they are invited to the front for a prayer by the Priest before then going to the Town Hall where the fun begins. We return in time for the young people to join in with Lord’s Prayer and go to the altar with their families to receive communion or a blessing. We explore stories from the Bible in a fun child friendly way through, stories, craft, games and lively discussion.
Little Angels: a pre-school group that meets from 9.30am – 11am on a Monday morning in St John Baptist. More information from Joanne Holden (joanneesw@hotmail.co.uk) or just come along.
Trinity Kids at Holy Trinity who meet in the hall next to the Church at 10am on Sundays and later join the congregation for Holy Communion. Please just come along and join in.
Seedlings at St Lawrence, Countess Lilias Road, Chesterton for pre-school children. A space to play and a time to chat. 2nd and 4th Thursdays in term-time. 9.15-10.45am. All sessions are free. More information from Karen (01285 650293) or just come along.
All-age services at both St John Baptist and Holy Trinity are on the first Sunday of each month.
