To arrange a baptism please contact the Parish Office and talk with the office staff. Baptism services take place usually on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon at 2pm or 3pm at the Parish Church or Holy Trinity. These dates are fixed for specific festivals throughout the year. Baptisms can also take place during a morning (10am) Eucharist at the Parish Church and Holy Trinity or at 10.30am at St Lawrence.
To arrange a wedding please talk to staff at the Parish Office. Dates, fees and what can be arranged to make a special day can all be discussed.
We take bookings quite a long way ahead so if you wish to book a special date it is advisable to contact us early.
Funerals are usually arranged through a Funeral Director. Both the Parish Church and Holy Trinity have peaceful Gardens of Remembrance. Names of the deceased can be written in the Books of Memorial which are on display in both churches. At the Parish Church are large York stone plaques on which the names of deceased loved ones can be inscribed. Please contact office staff for further details.
